Easy Grilled Corn Recipes

There's nothing that truly says summertime like luscious, fresh grilled corn on the cob. Riding my horse through a nearby cornfield as a child and attempting to pick a cob are wonderful childhood memories I cherish. I used to peel and eat it there while riding my horse back then. But now, I think grilling it makes it taste even better! I steam my corn to perfection by grilling it right in its husk. This grilled corn tastes like summer when it's dusted with salt and a little butter!

Ingredients:

  1. 4 ears corn, husks on ($2.40)
  2. Water ($0.00)
  3. Canola oil spray ($0.06)
  4. 1 tsp sea salt ($0.05)
  5. 4 Tbsp butter ($0.64)
  6. Instructions:

Instructions:

Step:NO:01

For at least ten minutes, soak four ears of corn in cool water.

Step:NO:02

Peel the green husks back gently about halfway, removing only the silks and leaving the fibrous green husks in place. Fold the husks over the exposed corn. In the end, this will cause the corn to "steam" while grilling!

Step:NO:03

Grill the corn cobs over high heat, turning them over every two to four minutes, until the outer husks are evenly charred on all sides. Lightly coat the grill with canola oil. The maize within should become a brighter yellow and absorb additional color from the grill.

Step:NO:04

Using the peeled back husk as a handle, enjoy with a little melted butter and a pinch of sea salt.
