easy pasta recipes

The combination of raw pasta, vegetables, and sauce cooks in about 20 minutes, making this Easy One-Pot Pasta the ideal weeknight meal!

Ingredients:

  1. 8 ounces dry pasta*, gluten-free or regular
  2. 8 ounces grape or cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  3. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  4. 1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  5. 1 small zucchini, chopped and quartered
  6. 3 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  7. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  8. 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  9. 1 1/4 cup pasta sauce of choice
  10. 2 1/2 cups water
  11. 3 ounces fresh spinach

Instructions:

Step:No:01

To a big saucepan (or pan with deep sides), add the raw spaghetti. Mix thoroughly after adding all the ingredients, excluding the spinach. On high heat, bring the pot to a boil.

Step:No:02

After the pasta starts to boil, lower the heat to medium-low and cook it for 10 to 14 minutes, or until it's al dente. In order to keep anything from clinging to the pan's bottom, stir the mixture every two minutes. Note: depending on the type of pasta used, cooking times will change. I advise you to begin assessing doneness by referring to the package's minimum cook time.)

Step:No:03

After removing the heat, mix the spaghetti with the spinach. When the spinach is wilted, portion the pasta into serving dishes and garnish with chosen ingredients. While leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days, this recipe is best when consumed fresh.
